The Witch's Daughter by Paula Brackston

You're just going about your daily business, healing people and whatnot, and then what happens? The plauge. Suddenly everyone in town is accusing of being a witch and clamouring the witch-finder to hang you for consorting with Satan and dancing naked with demons and whatnot. Isn't that always the way of things. Brackston provides us with several snapshots of Bess' nearly four hundred years of life. This is actually a rather dark book. The book is little all over the map .It has these great ,shining moments of insight into the nature of loss and suffering .Brackston's perspective on witchcraft is,while not all that original ,rather refreshing in tone.

but there is more to this case than meets the eye ,and the disappearances of other missing girls might be linked to it.Eric Rickstad takes you into the mind of a serial killer & the incomprehensible torture of his victims .The plot is well written ,shocking and makes you eager to learn more.
