This book is beautiful ,every single word is perfect .In one word this book is magnificent. I've read many books from the author and each of them is lovely but this one is a bit different than others nevertheless makes a strong mark. The moment I real the synopsis or blurb I knew I am going to love this.

It is not just a simple small town romance, its much more than a story of opposites attract .The main characters of the story are Grace and West. Grace isn't a typical heroine, she is bruised and broken and altogether utterly amazing. She just wants to blend in background and stay unobserved. West is a bad boy ,a killer fighter who is undefeated, a campus God and he does only one night stands. Well that is what we are told about him at the beginning .The more you delve deep into the book, you will realize that its just the outer layer much more is present in both characters and it is intriguing. The push and pull between them, their chemistry its amazing.

I felt every word of the story and I felt was there somewhere and in the story .L.J. Shen finds a way to grab her readers from the very first page and  not let them go even after the story is over. When I said it was different from other books then I wanted to say that the character here had a tragic past and the story is how they find their happiness and come into light and we can say that rise like a Phoenix from its ashes(I loved the way Shen used this Phoenix )

Every moment in this book(heart wrenching or heart warming ) is mesmerizing. This book is going to be my second favourite book from L.J. Shen( the first one is still Broken Knight).
